Are taxes and duties included with my pledge?
For the US, Canada, EU, UK, and AU, we have included applicable taxes; your rewards will be sent duty-free from within your region - there will be no additional customs charge unless you do not claim your pledge is a reasonable amount of time after fulfillment. We cannot guarantee customs friendly out of the US, Canada, EU, UK, and AU. There may be additional duties and/or fees charged by your country’s governmental agencies and/or shipping partners. Those fees are solely your responsibility, and we can neither cancel a shipped pledge, nor will we pay those fees. If a package is returned or destroyed due to non-payment of such fees, your pledge will be considered fulfilled.

Will the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero compendium box sets 1 +2 box sets ever be released outside this campaign?
There are currently no plans to release the Kickstarter exclusive box sets or faux-leather bound compendiums outside of Kickstarter. Softcover versions of the compendiums will be available through retail outlets.

How will these box sets be shipped?
Our amazing fulfillment service is Quartermaster Logistics, who handles all Skybound Kickstarters. For this campaign, each box set will be individually placed inside a bumper box, which will then be packed inside a second box. And if you ordered two box sets, they will ship in two different boxes. We’ve worked with Hasbro to source the available files. We have restored G.I. Joe Order of Battle #1-4 and G.I. Joe Special #1 but have no plans for further restoration at the time.

Will a version of the G.I. Joe Compendium box sets #1 + #2 be released in comic shops, bookstores or made available online?
Softcover versions of compendiums volumes 1-4 are available at retail. Softcover versions of compendiums 5-8 will be available at retail starting in 2026, however, this is ONLY place to get these gorgeous faux-leather hardcovers in this hinged box set with newly drawn box art by Andy Kubert and Brad Anderson!

Tell me more about the Larry Hama Profile Card!
Legendary writer Larry Hama will write your character file card profile, and iconic series artist Chris Mooneyham will illustrate you as your own G.I. JOE (or Cobra) character! Backers will receive two 6x8” hard copies and a digital file.
Participation in the NIGHT RAVEN reward tier requires the backer to execute a likeness release. By selecting this tier, the backer acknowledges and agrees that execution of such release is a condition of participation, and failure or refusal to sign the required release may result in ineligibility for the reward associated with this tier.
Skybound may disqualify any backer submission under the NIGHT RAVEN tier for any reason, including if it determines that the submission otherwise contains unacceptable content. Submissions by backers must:
- not be offensive, unlawful, or inappropriate, including content that is pornographic, explicit, profane, violent, hateful, defamatory, or politically promotional;
- not promote restricted or harmful products (e.g., drugs, alcohol, tobacco, or weapons);
- not include multiple participants; not include participants under 18 years old and
- respect third-party rights and privacy, and therefore must not include unauthorized trademarks, copyrighted materials, or the name, likeness, or identifying information of any person other than the backer making the submission;
- comply with all applicable laws.
Skybound is under no obligation to disclose why a backer submission has not been accepted. By submitting a submission, backers acknowledge and agree that they will have no input, approval, or right to review with respect to how the submission is incorporated into the customized profile card.

What is BackerKit?
BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!
The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.
How does BackerKit work?
After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.
I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?
The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.
Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.
To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.
How do I update my shipping address?
BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.
When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?
That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.
I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?
As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
